Bocce Information
Bocce can be played as a single player, as doubles with another athlete or Unified with a non-athlete partner. 

Unified players 18 and over will need to complete Class A Volunteer forms and associated checklist items to be eligible to practice and compete. 

Unified players under 18 should still register through the link above but will not have to complete all steps for the Class A Volunteer. 

During sign ups you will need to indicate if the athlete is going to play Unified and who their Unified Partner will be.  

Special Olympics Bocce Sport Information

Practices 

Bocce practices are held in Round Rock on Saturday mornings from 10am-11:30am and generally begin in June.

Practices will be held weekly until the week before the Area competition.

For security reasons, the practice location will be announced by the coach two weeks prior to the start and sent to you via email after sign ups close.

Competitions

Area (regional) competition information can be found here on the Area 13 calendar and is typically in August. 

If you do not see the date(s) listed, it will be published closer to the competition date. 

State competition, named Fall Classic, is held after Area competition and rotates locations around Texas. State competition is an optional competition. 

You can find information on state competition on the SOTX website. 

Uniforms

Athletes will need to wear an official CenTex Rockets collared or non-collared shirt for the Area and State competitions.
